Rubberlock interlocking rubber mats are made in the USA by a leading rubber flooring tile manufacturer under the product name Loktuff fitness flooring. These interlocking rubber flooring tiles feature 4x4, 2x4 and 2x2 ft. tile sizes in 3/8 and 1/2-inch thickness. This tile offers excellent value for the product. Larger tile sizes mean few seams on your rubber floor.
3/8 and 1/2 inch tiles will lose approx. 1.33 inches per tile at interlock. For example: 12 ft. of material will actually cover 11 ft. - 8 inches after the tiles are interlocked together. Please see loss chart below.
Each 4x4 ft. tile will actually covers 15.1 square feet.
Specifically designed plastic shims that fit the interlocking design of this tile are provided with these rubber tiles in order to provide a solution if any of the tiles have different thicknesses. This material will have some rubber smell for several weeks after installation, which will dissipate with ventilation over time. Not recommended for people with high smell sensitivities.
Some surface inconsistency may exist, such as shadowing, due to the recycled rubber. We will not accept returns for this product appearance.
When creating kits in this product the pattern or grain of the top surface, texture will not run in the same direction on all the floor tiles. This is because the mats are made in 4x8 ft. pieces and then water jet cut into corners, borders and corners as needed to make the component pieces for a specific kit size.
