The Safety Wall Pad 2x6 Ft x 2 inch WB Z-Clip ASTM can add safety to your gym, school, recreation center, or martial arts studio. It’s also a great choice for calm rooms, therapy rooms, or sensory rooms, helping to create a safer environment for people with special needs.
Designed for direct wall attachment with Z-clip style connectors, these wall mats are wood-backed pads with impact-rated foam wrapped with a durable 18.5-ounce vinyl cover. The 2-inch-thick compression polyurethane foam meets ASTM 2440 standards and can help to protect athletes or children from impacts with hard walls.
Invest in Durable, Quality Wall Pads
This protective wall padding features quality components to ensure optimal performance.
- The backing consists of a 7/16 inch Georgia Pacific Blue Ribbon® oriented strand board. It’s third-party certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® procurement standard and is free of added urea-formaldehyde resins.
- The foam layer is a two-inch high compression polyurethane foam that meets ASTM 2440 protective standards (GMax 108 & HIC 211.
- The cover is an 18.5-ounce coated smooth matte vinyl.
- The vinyl features BACshield which is anti-mildew, anti-fungus, antimicrobial, antibacterial, and UV treated.
- This product has been tested in accordance with CDPH 01350 v1.2 VOC emissions evaluation requirements and qualifies for the LEEDv4.1 EQ credit: Low-emitting materials.
Enjoy a Convenient Z-Clip Installation Method
The wall pads include aluminum Z-Clips for easy and versatile installation. The Z-Clip mounts to the wall at the top and bottom, as aligned with panel size and mounting height. The opposing Z-Clip is mounted to the backside of the wall pad. (Z-clips on the wall pads are included. Z-clips for the wall are not included in the price shown.)
Once the clips are securely fastened, you can nest the clip mounted to the pad into the clip that’s mounted to the wall. Use a rubber mallet to tap the wall pad securely down into the Clip. The mats can be removed and reinstalled as needed.
Custom Wall Pad Orders
Wall pads are available in custom sizes with custom graphics or logos. Wall mats can be customized with cut outs to fit around outlets and light switches. Please call for a customized quote.
