Impact wall pads is an indoor stationary Safety Wall Pad 2x8 Ft x 2 inch WB Z-Clip ASTM, intended for direct wall connection.
Safety Wall Pad 2x7 Ft x 2 inch WB Z-Clip ASTM is an indoor fixed wall padding panel. Designed for direct wall attachment. This style panel is a wood backed pad with 2” Impact rated polyethylene foam laminated to the face using a two-part adhesion process. This combination of foam and wood is wrapped front and sides and securely stapled onto back using Class “A” PVC Vinyl.
This product has been tested in accordance with CDPH 01350 v1.2 VOC emissions evaluation requirements and qualifies for the LEEDv4.1 EQ credit: Low-emitting materialsComponents
- Backing - 7/16” Georgia Pacific Blue Ribbon® oriented strand board (OSB); Third-party certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® procurement standard, Exposure 1 bond durability. Contains no added urea formaldehyde resins.
Georgia-Pacific building products can contribute to LEED® certification points. - Foam Layer - 2” polyethylene foam meets standards for ASTM 2440. The test method quantifies impact in terms of g-max and Head Injury Criterion (HIC) scores.
The foam layer contains at least 60% and up to 100% recycled pre-consumer raw material which promotes close-loop recycling of post-industrial scrap.
The use of pre-consumer recycled material can contribute to LEED® certification points. - Covering - 18.5 oz. coated smooth matte vinyl.
BACshield: Anti-Mildew, Anti-Fungus, Antimicrobial, Antibacterial treated, UV treated.
Passes NFPA-701, CSFM-19, and ASTM E-84 Class A fire retardant compliant
Installation of WB Z-Clip Wall Pads
No Nail Margin. Aluminum Z-Clip mounted to wall top and bottom (as aligned with panel size and mounting height) using appropriate hardware for wall type. Opposing Z-Clip mounted to panel. Once hardware is securely fastened to wall and panel, panels can be nested into wall side Z-Clip. 4” AFF to bottom of panel.

Q: I consult for an indoor sports facility that is looking to install some type of wall mat system. Three sides are needed. The dimensions of the area are roughly 120 ft. along the two sidewalls and 60ft along the back wall. The other back wall area does not require wall mats. the preliminary thinking is to go 8ft high; minimally 6ft. At this stage we are trying to determine what are the best practices in terms of quality and sizes. The facility is multi-sport - basketball, soccer, volleyball, pickleball, etc.
