Our heavy duty commercial vinyl flooring attempts to mimic the look of steel plating with polish. It will not show scuffs and wear like some other types of vinyl, delivering a high-quality design that will impress visitors to the space, all at a competitive price versus similar commercial grade rolls of vinyl.

It has an extremely thick wear layer compared to other styles of vinyl roll flooring, which ensures a high level of durability. Customers can select among black, silver, or gray colors, all of which yield a metallic look. The thick wear layer protects the color layer, ensuring it will last, even under heavy traffic patterns.

Slip Resistant Vinyl Flooring

When using this heavy duty commercial vinyl flooring in areas that sometimes have dampness, you can ensure a slip resistant surface. A cement floor may become slick when it is wet, but our vinyl rolls eliminate this problem through the use of a raised, textured pattern.

The diamond shaped raised pattern creates a sure footing for those walking or working in the area. The diamond plate pattern adds to the industrial feel of this flooring, as it resembles a chrome kick plate that often has a similar raised pattern.

It is important to use a glue down installation with our heavy duty commercial vinyl flooring. Failing to adhere the vinyl to the subfloor could create an unsteady feel as people walk on it and use it.

Additionally, the manufacturer recommends heat sealing or chemical sealing the seams on the floor after installation. Sealing the seams prevents curling and ensures a long-lasting install. Each roll measures 6 feet in width, so installers likely will need to place sheets side by side to complete the layout, creating seams.

Environmentally Friendly Floor Design

This model of LonPlate flooring carries GreenAir certification, meaning it maintains low emissions of VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Additionally, it meets LEED certification and FloorScore certification for indoor air quality (IAQ) standards. It matches California specification 01350 for IAQ standards as well.

It also receives GreenMedic certification, which means it has a design that resists the formation of microbes.

It contains between 20% and 40% of post-industrial recycled content, which helps to keep those types of materials out of landfills. This floor is highly valuable for use in a building that needs to exhibit environmentally friendly properties in its materials.

Finally, the flooring contributes to LEED points for recycled content, for the use of safe adhesives and sealants, and for flooring system designs.

Maintenance and Care

This durable roll of heavy duty commercial vinyl flooring carries a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty. By cleaning and maintaining the floor properly, customers should receive a far longer lifespan from this flooring.

Despite the metallic finish in our Lon Plate rolls, customers do not need to undertake complex cleaning processes to keep the flooring in like-new condition.

For daily maintenance, customers can run a broom or a vacuum over the top to remove dry debris and dust. Customers can use a putty knife to remove any sticky substances like gum.

When it’s time to mop the LonSeal flooring to remove stains and other minor soils, use a mop or an auto-scrubber. The most effective cleaning solution is a mixture of a neutral pH cleaner and warm water.

Customers who purchase this flooring roll will need to apply a finish to it. The manufacturer ships the flooring unfinished. Without a finish, the floor will be more difficult to clean, and it may show wear earlier than expected.

You can add an acrylic or urethane finish. Customers just need to be certain they are using a brand of finish that is compatible with this model of vinyl.

Due to its heavy embossing, proper heat welding of this product is not possible. Welding thread is not available for this product.
