Functional LonCoin II Vinyl Roll

In addition to the long-lasting design of our coin grip flooring, it delivers a slight surface texture that enhances the grip of the surface for those walking across it. The coin texture adds to the anti slip grip that the floor yields, even if the area has some dampness.

This is an ideal style of flooring to use in high foot traffic areas, as the coin stamping pattern and the slight texture will help to hide scuff marks from shoes, maintaining a like new look with minimal maintenance required.

It has a wear layer thickness of 0.8 mm, which provides a higher than average level of protection for the flooring, helping it to continue to look like new for years into the future. Customers can select among a few different solid colors in the LonCoin II material.

This is a commercial grade model of vinyl flooring roll, which means it can stand up to almost any use case customers may require. This coin flooring roll is extremely tough, carrying a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty. The majority of customers receive a far longer lifespan after deploying proper care techniques.

Environmentally Friendly Vinyl Floors

When installing our LonCoin flooring, customers will receive flooring that has some environmental benefits, which may help a building meet requirements for using eco-friendly materials.

The vinyl that is used for the LonCoin II roll will consist of between 20% and 40% of post-industrial recycled material. The recycled portion of the flooring material performs in a similar manner to the non-recycled vinyl portion, delivering a high level of integrity in the floor.

The manufacturer uses a formula that yields a number of other benefits that contribute to green requirements in building materials, including:

• GreenAir: The GreenAir designation for this roll of floor indicates that it has a low VOC rating. VOCs, or volatile organic compounds, are types of harmful gasses that certain solids emit that can affect the air quality inside a building.
  
• GreenMedic: The GreenMedic designation indicates that the formula for the vinyl material will inhibit the growth of bacteria inside the vinyl. This keeps the material safer. (Understand that bacteria could still appear on the surface of the vinyl, which the owner can remove through regular cleaning.)
  
• FloorScore: This roll of LonCoin II vinyl will match FloorScore’s Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) certification requirements, including California Specification 01350 and other air quality standards.

The materials used in this vinyl roll also will offer microbial resistance, maintaining a high level of safety for all users. This flooring can contribute to LEED credits and IEQ (indoor environmental quality) credits for those organizations that need this type of rated flooring.

Maintenance and Care

Keeping this LonCoin II vinyl clean by performing occasional maintenance on it will enhance its usable lifespan.

Because this LonCoin flooring ships as unfinished, installers can add a finish coat after waiting at least 48 hours following the installation process. Before adding a coating, use a dry mop or a broom to remove dry debris. Running a vacuum cleaner over the surface also will remove dry debris.

Customers can scrub the floor with a slow speed auto scrubber, or they can use a wet mop. Wash the coin vinyl flooring with water only or with a mixture of water and neutral pH cleaning solution. Allow the floor to completely air dry before applying either an acrylic or urethane finish.

After applying the finish, customers can undertake routine maintenance processes to keep the LonSeal flooring looking like new. Sweep or dry mop the vinyl to remove dry debris at least a few times a week. Use a neutral pH cleaner and wet mop as needed to remove stains and soils.

Installers can reapply a urethane or acrylic finish in the future as needed to restore the look of the LonCoin flooring.

No specific welding tread exists for Birch White. The thread listed is the closest match possible, but some color variation may be noticeable. Nimbus Gray, Sonic Gray, and Cerulean Blue require glazing of the welding thread.
