Troon Artificial Turf is a dual-colored forest and olive green golf turf that is equipped with a texturized polypropylene yarn system. With a pile height of 1-1/8 inch, Troon is specifically designed to facilitate chip shots and deliver a natural ball roll.
Troon Artificial Golf Turf can be utilized as a fringe area from which you can practice chipping. To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to use 5 to 6 pounds of infill per square foot during installation. Troon Artificial Turf provides an excellent solution for enhancing your golfing experience both on and off the course.
Troon features the SilverBack polyurethane backing to provide the strongest tuft bind. Installation
Install indoor or outdoor over concrete or a compacted aggregate base. Use 5 to 6 pounds of silica sand infill per square foot. Infill is required for all outdoor installations, infill is not needed for indoor installations.
Outdoor artificial turf requires a base layer 4-inch layer of compacted crushed stone or similar compacted surface. The artificial turf will need to be off-loaded from the shipping truck by hand which requires two or more people. Artificial turf can be cut to fit if needed. Seam tape may be necessary if you are putting two or more pieces together. Turf will need to be secured along the edges with nails or staples.
