Outdoor artificial turf requires a base layer 4-inch layer of compacted crushed stone or similar compacted surface. The artificial turf will need to be off-loaded from the shipping truck by hand which requires two or more people. Artificial turf can be cut to fit if needed. Seam tape may be necessary if you are putting two or more pieces together. Turf will need to be secured along the edges with nails or staples.
