Our putting turf provides a high-quality of performance, as we've recently improved its durability and safety features.

This artificial putting grass reacts naturally to golfing conditions. It is virtually maintenance-free, while providing consistent performance, even if you spend several hours per day working out on this faux grass for golf putting.

Our synthetic putting green consists of a nylon yarn polymer with a height of 3/8 inches. You're sure to receive a true ball roll and reaction when using this style of putting turf. The backing material is a dual-layered woven polypropylene, which holds the yarns of the backyard putting green in place, ensuring a high level of performance.

This backyard putting green material is a Made in the USA product that carries a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty, which means you can count on the quality and safety of the materials used in its construction.

Putting Green Turf Installation

You do not have to use an infill with this putting green turf but it could take up to 1/2 pound of infill per square foot. With both indoor and outdoor installations, you can glue down the artificial putting grass over a cement or other firm base surface. Using seam tape also works well to adhere the turf to the sub-floor. You will see this putting green turf used indoors at golf shops, for example, where customers can test putters and other pieces of golf equipment.

For an outdoor installation over a crushed rock and sand base, you can bury pressure-treated wood around the edges of the installation and staple the turf to the wood. Some of our customers choose to hire a professional to create a sturdy base for this type of installation.

Outdoor artificial turf requires a base layer 4-inch layer of compacted crushed stone or similar compacted surface. The artificial turf will need to be off-loaded from the shipping truck by hand which requires two or more people. Artificial turf can be cut to fit if needed. Seam tape may be necessary if you are putting two or more pieces together. Turf will need to be secured along the edges with nails or staples. You can use up to half a pound of infill per square foot but you may find that infill is not necessary.

When you're ready to order our backyard putting green product, it's manufactured in a standard 15-foot width. A full roll consists of 100 linear feet, but custom cut lengths are available.
