Our Flooring Maintains a Like-New Finish

The manufacturer applies a 30-micron thick layer of Topseal at the factory. This is a special urethane finish that helps the commercial grade vinyl flooring to continue to look like new, even when used in an area with quite a bit of foot or push cart traffic.

The Topseal coating provides maximum protection for the floor. It also reduces the effect of scuff marks, making them less noticeable, which means the customer does not have to clean the floor as often.

In customer-facing areas in healthcare facilities, retail locations, factories, and industrial facilities, this commercial grade vinyl flooring will deliver an impressive look.

More than a dozen colors are available, including light grays, dark grays, light blues, pale greens, and tans. There’s even a black commercial grade vinyl flooring model called Midnight Sky.

Environmentally Friendly Materials

This roll of vinyl contains 50% recycled content, creating a green type of product.

It follows GreenMedic standards for microbial resistance and GreenAir standards for low VOC emissions. This vinyl carries a FloorScore certification for indoor air quality.

It will contribute to LEED MR 4.1 and LEED MR 4.2 standards.

Maintenance and Care

This commercial grade vinyl flooring delivers outstanding performance over time, while requiring only minimal maintenance work. It carries a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty, but customers often can receive a far longer lifespan by performing the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance tasks.

For daily maintenance, remove any stuck-on solids like gum or other sticky substances with a putty knife. Use care during this process so the blade on the putty knife doesn’t gouge the floor inadvertently.

Use a broom or a dry dust mop to remove any loose solids from the surface of the sheet vinyl. Larger particles may be easier to remove using a vacuum cleaner.

For a more thorough cleaning, the manufacturer recommends using a neutral pH cleaner diluted with warm water. Customers can apply the cleaner with a mop or with an auto scrubber set on a low speed of no more than 300 rpm. Use a clean mop or a wet/dry vacuum to remove any excess cleaning solution.

For preventative maintenance, the manufacturer suggests using catch-all mats outside the entrance to the room where the luxury vinyl installation occurs. Catching dust and other debris from the shoes of visitors before they enter the room reduces the frequency with which cleaning must occur.
