Tips for getting that great photo of your space and flooring.

You' want to showcase your flooring and space in the the best light don't you? Here are some tips to make sure they both look their best.

1. Keep it clean. Make sure to picked all of that dirty laundry, randomly strewn toys and paperwork. If your dog has just come in from playing in the outside and walked across your flooring, give it a quick vacuum, sweep or mopping if necessary. This will keep the distractions at a minimum.

2. Light it up. Be sure to open the blinds and turn on some lights. Take your photos during the daytime when possible to maximize quality lighting. Just make sure the sunlight is shining directly in the windows or doors and washing out areas of your flooring. Choose a time of day where that indirect light showcases your space. If possible, keep the most intense lighting coming from behind you. Shooting photos with windows in the background will likely give you a silhouette. If that's your intention, go for it. Trust your instincts. If it looks cool to you. It does to someone else as well.

3. Bring on the Action Everyone loves to see how products are used. Show us your favorite way to use your flooring.
