The tile’s construction allows water to drain around and underneath the tile, and that water drainage means your playground stays accessible even after a heavy rain.
The black tile’s color comes from the recycled rubber material, delivering cost savings over the other pigmented or Daybright EPDM color options.
Install Rubber Playground Tiles Using a Variety of Methods
This playground flooring offers value, ease of installation, ease of maintenance, and proven durability. It can be installed indoors or outdoors, and these tiles also work as rubber deck tiles or rooftop flooring.
You can choose from many different installation methods. The full adhesion method is the most secure, and is approved for concrete slabs and asphalt surfaces.
For rooftops, the tiles feature a Quad Blok connector system for added stability and ease of maintenance. By fastening this rubber mat using the Quad Blok connector, you’ll eliminate any potential damage to a roof membrane.

These outdoor rubber tiles are manufactured using recycled rubber buffings or crumb rubber from reground automotive tires. Color from the rubber material will rub off to some extent under normal use. This is common contact wear with outdoor rubber tiles. All pigmented colored rubber tiles for outdoor and indoor use will experience some color ambering under UV exposure and some circumstances of color coming off.
