Ridge Line Solid Oak Wood Flooring With Multiple Stain Colors
For the beauty and durability that only hardwood floors can deliver, select our Ridge Line Solid Oak Wood Flooring product. These full-thickness oak flooring planks have a tongue and groove edging that simplifies the install process.
This is a beautiful, natural wood flooring plank that will fit into the decor of almost any room in the home or in a commercial building. It’s a versatile product. It has a rustic style that will create a log cabin feel for a man cave, but it also has the quality that’s desirable in a formal dining room or restaurant.
Multiple Wood Stain Color Options
Multiple different wood stain color options are available in these planks. Installers can select from multiple shades of traditional browns, as well as brown colors with a red tint and off white colors with gray tints.
Each of the stain colors allows the natural wood grain pattern in these planks to stand out clearly. Additionally, each plank has a beveled edge, which is the exact look vintage hardwood planks should have.
Durable and Cost Effective Wood Flooring
Typically, solid wood plank flooring will be extremely expensive. However, our product is available for around $7 per square foot of coverage, making it a cost effective choice.
Because it has an easy means of installation with the tongue and groove design, customers should not need to hire a professional to do the installation, which will save additional money.
It carries a 35-year limited manufacturer’s warranty for the residential finish and a limited lifetime structural warranty. Customers can be certain they will be able to keep this floor in place for many, many years.
Installation Tips for Tongue and Groove Planks
When laying out this solid wood flooring, it is installed over the top of a plywood subfloor the majority of the time. If going over the top of concrete, the installer may need to create a plywood subflooring system first.
When placing the planks against walls or other solid objects in the room, always leave a 3/4 inch gap to allow for potential expansion of the wood. Without the proper expansion gap in place, the floor could buckle or split during times of high humidity or high temperatures.
Installers will want to use staples or cleats to fasten the oak planks to the subfloor, creating a sturdy layout that can stand up to heavy foot traffic and other stresses.
Start in a corner and lay out the planks across the width of the room. Upon reaching the far end of the room, the installer will need to cut a plank short to fit in the remaining space. Use a power saw or hand saw to keep the cut as clean as possible.
Once it’s clear the planks will fit in the row, the installer can nail them down. Use either 16- or 18-gauge crown staples or power cleats. Follow the manufacturer instructions for placement of the nails.

Maintenance and Care
These solid wood flooring planks are easy to care for and maintain, making them a popular choice in areas with high foot traffic.
For the best long-term results, only install them in a room of the home, office building, or retail location where temperatures remain in a range of 60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. These planks last longer when humidity levels in the room remain between 35% and 55% at all times as well.
Installing them in a room where environmental conditions can change significantly could cause the planks to shrink, buckle, or crack.
If moving heavy furniture across the floor, such as a cabinet or entertainment center, always use furniture protector pads on the legs of the heavy items to avoid scratches.
For routine cleaning needs, customers can sweep, vacuum, or dust mop the surface a few times per week. Only use a vacuum cleaner with a brush or felt attachment. Avoid using a vacuum that has a beater bar head, as it could damage the floor’s surface.
For more thorough cleanings, the manufacturer recommends using a wood floor cleaning product. Avoid using water alone on the floors, as this could lead to staining. Spills and pet accidents require cleaning as quickly as possible to avoid staining as well.
If the floor begins to lose its luster in the future, customers can apply a urethane finish to return it to an almost like-new look. Maintenance
Sweep or dust mop your floor once a week or more with an approved floor cleaner. Spills, pet accidents, or tracked in dirt should be cleaned immediately. Never clean or wet mop with water, water may damage floor. Use a wood floor cleaner, do not use harsh abrasive cleaners.Shipping
