Smart Transformations Ridgeline Carpet Tile 1/4 Inch x 24x24 Inches 15 Per Case carpet tiles are durable and strong. The peel and stick pressure-sensitive adhesive makes easy installation for everyone. Ridgeline carpet tiles can be installed over any clean and dry floor.

Others may want to do an indoor installation over an existing low pile carpet, which is possible as long as the pile height is 1/8 inches or less. When going with an indoor layout, these tiles will fit over the top of existing vinyl or wood flooring too.

Carpet Fibers Made From Recycled Plastic Bottles

One of the most popular aspects of our stick on carpet products is the fact that the manufacturer constructs these tiles completely from recycled plastic bottles.

After sterilizing and cleaning the bottles, the manufacturer turns them into PET fibers featuring Dura-Lock technology. These fibers are highly durable, ensuring a long lifespan from this Made in the USA product.

The manufacturer uses the PET material in both the fibers and in the base layer. This ensures the fibers will not pull loose from the base layer when placed under stress. The fibers will not fray or unravel either.

Each tile carries a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty, but most customers receive even a longer useful life out of these tiles, as long as they care for the tiles properly.

Even with such a durable material in these PET fibers, the carpeting is very comfortable. Adults and children will be able to sit and lay on the carpet and play, as will pets.

The pile height for these tiles measures 1/4 inches in thickness, so it’s easy to keep the carpet clean for children and pets.

Multiple Color Options in Stick on Carpet Tiles

Customers can select from a dozen different color options in our Ridgeline model of carpet squares. The PET fibers are able to maintain a high level of colorfastness, so the colors will continue to look great, even when installed in areas of bright sunlight that could cause cheaper materials to fade.

The Ridgeline tiles make use of a single, solid color in each tile. Customers can select from multiple shades of blue, brown, gray, or black. These tiles appear to have a slight raised texture to them, creating a unique look in the final layout.

To provide another layer of protection for our tiles, they contain a product called Naturion, which uses silver and copper in a formula to help the fibers resist the formation of mildew, mold, and associated odors. This is a key technology for tiles installed outdoors where they may have exposure to moisture.

Maintenance and Care

When preparing to clean these stick on carpet tiles, treat them like you would any typical carpet layout. These PET fibers behave like traditional carpet fibers, offering a high level of durability, as long as the customer properly cares for the tiles.

You should vacuum these tiles on a regular basis to pull dirt and dry materials away from the carpet fibers, which reduces the chances of matting over time. In normal conditions, vacuuming weekly should do the job adequately. In high traffic areas, customers may need to vacuum a few times a week.

Should the carpet end up with soil or spilled liquid on it, customers should try to remove these items as quickly as possible to avoid the possibility of staining. Do not wipe liquids or solids, like pet waste. Try to blot the soils to remove them without spreading the stain wider.

If you need to use a stain cleaning solution on this carpet, you usually can do so safely. However, add the solution to the cleaning rag. Do not add the cleaning solution directly on the carpet fibers, as some cleaners could lead to discoloration or staining.

Around once a year, customers can use a commercial cleaning machine for carpets over the top of the fibers. This will allow for a deep clean of the low pile carpet, pulling any solids loose that vacuum cleaners cannot remove.
