Peel And Stick Carpet Tiles Are Easy To Install

These carpet tiles are a great product to select if you desire one that virtually anyone can install using the pressure-sensitive adhesive. Simply follow these 3 easy steps:

1. These carpet tiles can be installed over any clean and dry floor. The adhesive will stick tightly to the sub-floor, giving you a solid installation.
2. When you're ready to lay down the tiles, flip the tile so the carpet side is down and pull the protective film off the back of the tile. Do not remove the film until you're ready to lay down the tile, or you risk having particles in the air collect on the adhesive before you can install the tile, which could cause the tile to not stick properly.
3. Once the film is peeled, flip the tile and hold it over the area where you want to install it, lining it up properly before you adhere it to the sub-floor. Then lay the tile down. Double-check that it's properly aligned. If so, press it firmly in place with your hands around the edges and corners of the tile.

Once installed, these carpet tiles offer a flooring surface that is partially non-absorbent and made to last. They carry with them a 3 year warranty for wear, fading, soils, and stains, but the warranty specifically excludes stairs, as application on stairs is not advised.

To preserve the high quality performance and appearance of the peel and stick carpet, it’s imperative that the carpet is vacuumed regularly, which means at least twice per week if installed in a high traffic area. Vacuuming helps keep dirt particles from getting trapped in the carpet and matting down the pile.

If and when spills occur on the carpeted floor, be sure to blot them with paper towels or an absorbent cloth. If there are soils, be sure to scoop them up as soon as they are noticed.

For stubborn stains, a gentle stain cleaner can be used to lift them away. Test all cleaners on a small area of the carpet first to ensure damage or discoloring of the carpet doesn’t occur. It’s important not to saturate the carpet with cleaner and to apply cleaner to a cloth and not directly to the carpet. Never rub the stain out, as this may spread the stain or distort the pile. So, instead, blot the stain.

It’s a good idea to have the carpet tile shampooed professionally every 1 to 3 years to best maintain its appearance and performance. This helps deeply clean the carpet and refresh its look.
