Grizzly Grass Carpet Tile 1/4 Inch x 24x24 Inches 15 Per Case carpet tiles naturally resists stains, soils and fading. The peel and stick pressure-sensitive adhesive makes installation easy for everyone.

Multiple Colors and Patterns Available

These Grizzly Grass tiles are available in different shades, allowing customers to choose among green, gray, and brown options.

During installation, customers can use a single color throughout the layout for a simple design. Or they can choose to create a pattern in the floor, mixing and matching different colors of these carpet squares. Each color of tile has the same 2x2 size and shape, so creating a pattern is easy.

The fibers on each tile have a horizontal orientation. Installers can use this orientation to create a pattern using a single color by rotating each tile 90 degrees from the adjacent tiles. The 90-degree rotation gives the fibers a vertical orientation, creating contrast from the adjacent tiles.

The types of fibers in use with these tiles will naturally resist stains and fading, allowing the flooring to maintain its original color for a long period of time.

These fibers also dry quickly. People will install these tiles in outdoor locations around pools, for example, because of the fast-drying material. Unlike artificial grass that has long blades that may allow water to cling to them for hours, water will not cling to this 1/4-inch pile for very long.

Highly Durable Interior or Exterior Flooring

The tiles consist of PET fibers called Dura-Lock. These fibers give Grizzly Grass its high level of durability, meaning it can stand up to regular cleaning processes. It carries a limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.

The fibers will not fray, unravel, or pull loose from the backing material. They can withstand extreme foot traffic over time. Customers can place furniture over the top of the fibers, just as they would with other types of carpeting.

The fibers represent a 100% recycled material, created from old plastic bottles. Making use of this flooring helps to keep these plastic bottles out of the landfill. The PET fibers are completely safe for use around children, pets, and adults.

The PET fibers are more comfortable than customers expect. When laying or sitting on them to play with pets or kids, they will be as comfortable as any other type of carpeting. This is a low pile material, which simplifies the cleaning process.

Installation is an easy job too. Prepare the subfloor by vacuuming or sweeping it. If the installer needs to mop the subfloor, allow it to fully air dry before laying out the tiles. Remove any sticky or greasy spots. Only perform the install in temperatures of 50 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.

Dry lay the tiles first by leaving the protective backing layer attached. Make any required cuts for walls or permanently installed objects before securing the tiles to the subfloor to make sure everything will fit correctly.

When it’s time to stick the carpet square to the subfloor, remove the protective backing layer. Line up the carpet square in the proper position and press it in place. Installers do not need to apply extra glue or adhesive.

Maintenance and Care

Even though our Grizzly Grass carpet tiles use a slightly different type of fiber than a traditional carpeting, customers are able to care for these tiles in a manner similar to what they’d use for any type of carpeting layout.

For basic maintenance requirements, customers will want to vacuum the flooring at least once a week. In a high traffic area, customers may need to run a vacuum over the floor a few times per week.

Whenever soils or spills appear, try to clean them as quickly as possible before staining occurs. Blot liquids and scoop any solids, such as pet waste. To remove stubborn stains, customers can use a gentle spot cleaning solution, but test the solution in an out-of-the-way location, in case it causes discoloration.

Annually, the manufacturer recommends having a professional carpet cleaning service performed. Customers can also use their own warm water carpet cleaning machine.
