While the mats are incredibly easy to install and store, they're designed for maximum athlete safety. The closed-cell cross-link polyethylene foam is lightweight yet durable. A tatami texture is popular for grappling, jiu jitsu, MMA, and BJJ. The vinyl surface has also been treated with biocidal, which prevents bacteria from growing within the vinyl surface.
