Wall Pad 2x6 Ft WB LipTB ASTM meets ASTM 2440-18 for impact attenuation which is vital for athletic facilities. This gym wall pad is covered with Class A flame retardant vinyl laminated polyester fabric.
Each Gym Wall Pad features 2-inch-thick polyethylene foam interior and a formaldehyde-free, backer board, all wrapped in a durable 14 oz. vinyl-coated polyester color of your choice. This Gym Wall Pad will give your gymnasium a professional look without compromising style.
Vinyl Covering: 14 oz vinyl-coated polyester is resistant to punctures and tears. Passes NFPA-701 CSFM and Class A fire rating under ASTM E-84. UV treated. Features BACshield: antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-mildew. CPSC CPSIA - 6P and lead compliant. Leather texture.
Foam Interior: 2-inch-thick polyethylene foam with a density of 1.7-lb/ ft3. Meets the ASTM standard 2440-18 impact attenuation. 100% pre-consumer recycled material. May contribute toward satisfying Credit MR 4 under LEED.
This gym wall pad feature a one-inch lip at the top and bottom of each wall pad that allows for a direct screw-on connection to a wall or to a 1x2 inch furring strip that is first attached to the wall. This is ideal for permanent installations.

Q: What is the recommended width of mats behind a goal?
A: On average, we see most customers install about 12 feet of padding behind a basketball hoop. We do not have a recommended width of padding.
Q: Do these wall pads dampen noise?
A: The wall padding will reduce echo in the space and dampen noise.
Q: I run a boxing gym. Would I be able to use this instead of a wall punching pad?
A: No. These wall pads are not designed for punching.

We couldn’t be happier with it. It’s been a godsend for our school. It just changed everything. I don’t hear people, whether it’s teachers or a parent or anybody else else worried about the gym anymore. Not only does it make the gym look amazingly better, but the perception of (it’s safety) doesn’t even come up any more.

We initially ordered just enough mats to protect the basketball ''lane'' areas of our gym,. Our parents loved the look so much we ordered additional mats to extend the area. They really help our older gym look a bit classier.
