Interlocking Rubber Tile 20% Color 8 mm x 23x23 Inch Eureka is a durable, non slip floor tile that is easy to install.

Each tile measures almost 2x2 feet. Because of the interlocking edges that resemble a jigsaw puzzle, its actual dimensions are 23x23 inches.

These tiles provide 3.67 square feet of coverage per tile, as there is a slight interlock loss from the puzzle edge. For customers who need help deciding how many tiles to order, contact the Greatmats customer service team.

At 8mm in thickness (or about 5/16 inches), this is a thinner type of rubber tile than some other models we offer. Even at 5/16 inches in thickness, it still provides protection for the subfloor against exercise equipment and dumbbells.

Each tile weighs 7.7 pounds.

The manufacturer uses recycled rubber to create these tiles, meaning they may qualify for LEED points for your building.

Additionally, the manufacturer uses a urethane-based binding agent, which reduces the odor that these tiles create.

Pattern and Texture Options

Our colored tiles naturally offer a non-slip surface, as rubber flooring yields traction.

Even though these tiles have a black base color, the manufacturer added color flecks to the base in a 20% concentration.

As part of the finish process, the flecks of color are embedded directly into the black rubber, which ensures that they will not wear away under constant foot traffic.

Common Use Options

Some of the most common uses for Eureka tiles are home gyms, commercial gyms, fitness centers, and schools. Eureka tiles provide protection for the subfloor against dropped weights or heavy exercise machines.

With a rubber floor, customers can make use of stationary bikes, treadmills, and rowing machines without having to worry about the machines sliding around.

Installation Options

One of the biggest advantages of our colored rubber tiles is that installation is an easy DIY project and does not require adhesive.

To connect two tiles together, just line up the tabs and slots and press the edges to connect. Additionally, the tabs and slots will remain tightly connected, even under the stress of use.

Cleaning and Maintenance Requirements

Customers appreciate the limited amount of time required to clean and maintain this rubber flooring.

Use a broom or a vacuum to remove dust and other debris. To wash the floor, use a cleaning solution of a neutral pH cleaner and hot water. Apply it with a mop and allow it to dry over a few hours.
