Rolled Rubber Pacific 1/8 Inch 10% Color Per SF - Impact absorption

is the high quality flooring of choice for many fitness chains, along with a large number of Division I colleges and universities. Made from recycled tires, this rolled rubber flooring takes the abuse of high traffic areas and keeps looking good for years. Order rolls by the square foot.

Thin Rolled 1/8 Rubber Flooring, Multiple Color Fleck Options

To receive the advantages of rubber floors in a product that has a limited amount of weight, count on our Thin Rolled 1/8 Rubber Flooring product. This floor measures only 1/8 inch thick, which reduces the overall weight of the roll. This simplifies the process of moving the roll into place for installation.

Even with a thin design, our 1/8 rubber flooring maintains the most desirable properties of rubber, including:

  • Excellent grip, even when wet
  • Water resistant
  • Mold resistant
  • Mildew resistant
  • Sound and noise absorbent
  • Shock absorbent

Athletes love the way rubber flooring works at a gymnasium in the house or at a fitness center. It allows them to have a sure footing for tough workouts where the athletes need to use the floor for leverage. It also provides cushioning that protects the lower body joints of the athletes, allowing them to feel fresher afterward.

Long Lasting Recycled Rubber Roll

This Rolled Rubber 10% Color 1/8 Inch Pacific Per SF rubber flooring carries a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty, but most customers will receive a far longer lifespan. This is an impressive level of performance for a roll of rubber that costs around $2 per square foot of coverage.

The manufacturer creates this roll of 0.125-inch thick rubber in the United States, so customers can trust the quality of the rubber in use, as well as the manufacturing process. Whether using this 1/8 rubber flooring around children and pets or for workouts from the ground, it will be safe for all users.

This roll consists of recycled SBR tire rubber that meets all safety standards. Using these tires in the construction of the floor helps to keep the tires out of the landfill, ending up with an environmentally safe product. This flooring likely will contribute to LEED points for a building.

It stands up for many years to heavy foot traffic or a busy gym setting without showing wear and tear. As long as the customer follows the proper glue down installation instructions, the floor will remain in place and deliver the desired benefits.

During the installation process, the installer has the option of creating a seamless design between the sheets of rubber. This yields an impressive look that’ll give visitors confidence about the sturdiness of the layout. This type of installation also reduces the chances of a tripping hazard from the seams.

One advantage of using such a thin type of floor is that it is easy for the installer to cut through it for creating a wall to wall installation or to fit around stationary objects in the room. A thicker rubber tile or roll will be more challenging to cut.

Color Fleck Rubber Flooring

To add an interesting look to this rubber flooring, the manufacturer added a color fleck at a 10% concentration. More than a dozen different colors are available, and all of them stand out clearly against the black background of the rubber material. Each roll has one specific color fleck, rather than multiple colors.

This speckled appearance for the rubber floor gives it a high-end look and feel that’s ideal for use in a home or in a customer-facing area of a workout facility. Adding the color flecks does not affect the integrity of the floor, meaning it will be as durable as an all-black rubber floor.

Some of the types of facilities that may end up making use of this style of floor include:
  • Weight rooms
  • School workout rooms
  • Locker rooms
  • Golf course pro shops
  • Warehouses
  • Retail locations
  • Entryways with busy foot traffic
  • Industrial locations
  • Factories
  • Portable trade show booths

Maintenance and Care

Customers who select rubber for an install are seeking an inexpensive style of floor that’s durable and easy to clean and maintain.

Customers often can perform the cleaning process themselves when working with our 1/8 rubber flooring, which saves money versus having to hire a professional cleaning service.

The cleaning process goes quickly. Start by sweeping or vacuuming the surface of the material to remove dry debris, dust, and dirt. Performing this type of cleaning on a daily basis will prevent dirt from grinding into the material, which creates stubborn soils and necessitates mopping more often.

Customers can use a mop on the flooring whenever needed to remove soils that will not come up with the broom or vacuum. Use a neutral pH cleaning solution on the surface of the rubber for the best results. Occasionally, customers may want to use an auto scrubber in place of a mop.

Let the floor air dry before allowing people to begin using the floor.

Product orders are by the square foot.

This can be used for slip-resistant production and distribution floors, but is not resistant to chemicals, oils, and acids.

Sweep or vacuum daily. Scrub with deck brush and neutral pH cleaner. Remove solution with a wet/dry vacuum.
