LVP Flooring Installation Tips
Whether the installation of these LVP planks will occur at home or at a commercial building, the process will go quickly, because of the simple design of the adhesive edges.
To prepare the room for the install, remove any baseboards and other trim work near the floor, as well as any transition brackets.
Always leave an expansion gap of 1/8 inches between the planks and any fixed objects in the room. This floor may slightly expand when exposed to high levels of moisture or high temperatures.
Installers will want to align the long sides of the rectangular planks to run parallel to the longest dimension of the room.
Place the first plank in the corner and run adjacent planks in a row across the room.
When reaching a fixed object at the end of the row, such as a wall, cut the plank to fit the remaining space - allowing for that expansion gap. Use a utility knife and a straightedge to make a clean cut in the vinyl plank.
When starting the second row, return to the original corner of the room. Start the new row, but make sure the seams on the short edges of the planks don’t line up between the adjacent rows.
Instead, stagger the seams, which will maintain integrity in the floor. If needed, the installer may have to cut a tile at the start of the row to deliver the desired stagger between the seams.
The manufacturer does recommend the use of an underlayment in certain instances to create a perfectly smooth subfloor for the installation. Concrete floors may need the addition of a moisture vapor barrier prior to installation.

Maintenance and Care
The best way to keep this tacky LVP flooring maintained and looking new is through basic, regular cleaning.
For removal of dust and other dry debris, just use a broom, dust mop, or gentle vacuum cleaner over the top of the flooring.
For removing stubborn stains or to perform a more thorough cleaning about once a week, homeowners can use a damp mop with a mixture of water and a neutral pH cleaner. They also can use a spray mop with microfiber cloths, if desired.
Customers will receive a manufacturer’s 10-year limited commercial warranty and a manufacturer’s 25-year limited residential warranty with this product.
Maintenance
Vacuum or dust mop with a micro-fiber mop to remove all surface soil, sand and grit. Damp mop to remove surface soil using spray mop with micro-fiber pads and neutral pH cleaner.

A: This would go down directly over any hard flat surface, as it has the tacky backing.
Q: Can this be installed over carpet?
A: This is a peel and stick product. We do not recommend installing it over carpeting.
Q: Can this be installed over radiant heat?
A: Yes this tile can be installed over in-floor heat.
