Gaga Ball Pit Rubber Mat Flooring Kit 23.8 x 23.8 Ft. is a top choice for gaga ball pits. These feature a smooth, flat surface to help prevent scrapes to hands and knees. The bottom of the mats feature domed buttons to increase drainage after a rainstorm.
The interlocking design of these mats is designed to connect tightly to prevent separation of the mats. The flooring kit contains 24 mats creating a 23.8x23.8 foot space. These will work with any gaga ball pit with a diameter of less than 23.5 feet in size.
The rubber mats for the Gaga ball pit are 5/8 inch thick providing cushion support for knees and ankles to help prevent injuries. They are made of 100% vulcanized recycled rubber for superior performance and durability. Made for outdoor use, these rubber mats have a non-porous design that will not absorb water. Safer and Cleaner Playing Surface
Sand is sometimes used in Gaga pits but sand can get in people's eyes and shoes. Mulch or grass can be wet, messy, and can get muddy. It requires ongoing maintenance. In ball pits that get used often, grass will turn to dirt and mud.
Rubber mats prevent all of the issues of the messiness of sand, grass, mulch, and dirt. The rubber mats will prevent wet muddy messes from getting tracked indoors and keep kids cleaner.
Installation of Gaga Ball Pit Mats
These rubber flooring mats should be installed over concrete, asphalt, or other flat surface to provide a safe play area. They could also be installed over a compacted aggregate base.
When installing the kit on grass or another soft surface, you will want to prepare the area similar to how you would for a brick patio or concrete. It is best to remove a few inches of grass and soil. Then compact the area with stone dust, crushed limestone, or similar material that will provide a solid and level surface so the tiles remain flat.
