Anti Fatigue Flooring

When a worker must stand for the majority of the day on a concrete floor or a hard vinyl, it can lead to lower body fatigue and pain. When the employees stand on a floor that is too firm, they may start thinking about a sore back or achy knees after a few hours, rather than focusing on the work at hand.

Our PVC anti-fatigue mat eliminates this problem by covering the cement, yielding a much safer space for employees to stand and work.

The surface of the material in our PVC anti-fatigue mat looks smooth at first glance, but it does have a slight texture that further reduces the possibility of a slip occurring, even when the floor is damp.

Expandable Tile Floor System

One of the biggest advantages of our 18x18 tiles is the ability to create a floor layout that is the exact size needed for the job being done.

If businesses need a long, narrow layout along an assembly line, they can place these squares in that type of pattern. Layouts that go wall to wall in a squarish room are also possible.

Because installers will not use glue on the positive interlocking system along the edges of each tile, they can disassemble the flooring after completing a certain type of work and reassemble the tiles in a new location or in a new layout to handle a different type of task on the factory floor.

The tabs and loops on these tiles will hold the tiles in place tightly. They will not pull apart, even when placed under the stress of being in a high foot traffic area or when facing the stress of having lightweight carts and dollies roll across them on a regular basis.

When creating a wall-to-wall layout with these tiles or when bumping into a stationary object in the room, installers can cut these 7/8-inch thick tiles to fit using a utility knife. It may take several cuts to work all the way through the material, although PVC is easier to cut than a denser material such as rubber.

If you need to cut these mats, you must cut them in 3-inch increments either horizontally or vertically along the tile to protect the interlock system. Installers can attach the smaller, cut tile to the rest of the flooring layout securely when following this pattern for cutting.

Chemical Resistance and Specifications

The resistance levels reflected below are based on moderate exposure, not long-term immersion in any of the listed fluids. For best results, please use this chart as a guide, and schedule regular cleaning for your mats.

• Performs well: boric acid, ethylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, transmission fluid (type A)
• Slightly affected: bleach solution (10% dilute), brake fluid, brake fluid (silicone based), chlorine solution (3% dilute), diesel oil, hydraulic oil (petroleum), mineral oil, petroleum, salt water, vegetable oil
• Moderately affected: animal fats, citric acid, hydrochloric acide cole (37% dilute)
• Not Recommended: acetone, lacquer solvents, MEK, naptha, napthlene, tolulene, trichloroethane
• Not Tested: acetone, ethylene acetate, Lindol (hydraulic fluid)
