Athletic Flooring Cushion, Sound Reduction Underlayment
SilentTread is an acoustical underlayment for use in residential applications involving laminate, hardwood and engineered wood flooring. Available in a roll, 2 mm or 5/64 inch thick x 4 ft x 25 ft long. SilentTread is a nationally recognized brand of rubber sound and noise reduction underlayment for residential flooring underlayment options.
Silent-Tread offers superior noise reduction and outperformed the competition in head-to-head field testing for noise reduction. It has three times the sound dampening weight of competing products.
Silent-Tread's durable rubber material will not be crushed or degraded by the flooring system. It will retain its noise reduction capabilities for the life of the floor.
Silent-Tread offers mold/mildew prevention. This product incorporates an anti-microbial ingredient to help prevent the growth of harmful mold, mildew and bacteria in accordance with nationally recognized standards.
The superior density allows SilentTread to lay flat during the installation process, adding to the ease of installation.

In come cases, the manufacturer may provide a cut length within two pieces of material. In other cases, the manufacturer may send material that is over or under the specified linear footage. In all cases, the manufacturer is required to supply the overall amount of material per order. It is common for rolled rubber jobs to have butt seams or cut end seams within one roll or run.
