Durable Acoustical Sound Reducing Tiles
These extra thick mats have excellent shock impact reduction capabilities, as they protect the knees, ankles, and hips from repeated workouts. These extreme rubber gym tiles carry a 5-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. This product is manufactured from 89% recycled rubber material.
The manufacturer gives these tiles a rating of 67.7% force reduction, which measures the tiles’ ability to absorb impact energy. These rubber mats have a 46.1% energy restitution measurement, which measures the useful return of impact energy. As athletes drop their free weights or clang weightlifting equipment, these extreme rubber gym tiles can cut down on the noise.
dBTiles can stand up to free weights and platform-style weightlifting. The manufacturer does not recommend using this flooring for Olympic-style weightlifting workouts, though. You can also use dBTile Gym Floor Tiles with RageTurf dBTile, to create a dual workout area, of rubber and turf.

Installation Options Using the Quad Blok System
The Quad Blok installation system creates a secure layout for the tiles. With the Quad Blok system, the manufacturer recommends an interior installation over concrete. An indoor installation over plywood is also a possibility.
Using the Quad Blok system, dBTiles can be installed with or without adhesive. Quad Bloks are placed on the floor in the planned layout, adding adhesive if desired.
Each of the rubber tiles has a set of pegs shaped like cylinders on the underside. These pegs will slide into the holes in the Quad Blok pieces, creating a tight fit. This system keeps everything in place, even when exposing the floor to the stress of weight machines and free weights. Each tile includes one Quad Blok Connector 8x8 Inches for 2.5 Inch tiles.

Maintenance and Care
dBTiles should be swept or vacuumed on a regular basis. To remove heavy soils, use a wet mop or an auto scrubber on the rubber surface. Always use a neutral pH cleaning solution such as E-Cleaner.
After washing the floors, use a wet/dry vacuum to pick up excess water and allow the floor to air dry.
