Use Types

Max Tile Raised Floor Tile Ramped Border Piece

Border ramp pieces designed specifically for the Max Tile floor tile. The easily snap connects onto the edge of the Max Tile. The border ramps with loops are called female and the ramps with the nub connection are called male. Accommodating corner ramp pieces also available to complete the edging on your portable dance floor or home basement floor installation.

These borders will only interlock with the Max Tile. Typically choose half female and half male borders for an island installation with borders on all four sides of your layout.

One border fits on one tile, and provides a finished edge to your floor layout and ramps down to provide safe transition.

This border edge will also fit the ProCourt Floor Tile.

ANSWERS

Product Questions:

Q: I am horrible at math. Can you tell me how many of these border pieces I would need to border a floor that is 7 feet by 7 feet? And would half of those be the female and half the male? Thanks!
A: The way to figure the borders need is to count the number of tiles on the perimeter of your layout, so 7 tiles in 2 directions, is 7x4 sides for a total of 28 borders, half male and half female, and four corner pieces.
