Padded Floor Mats

In short, there are potentially endless uses for the wide variety of padded floor mats that we offer. As you explore the many floor mats, you'll find that they fall into two main types: Rubber and foam mats.

  1. Rubber floor mats are highly durable and are available in a variety of densities. They provide shock absorption and can even help to prevent the cold feeling of a concrete subfloor from traveling up to the flooring itself. Many people prefer rubber mats because they are made of recycled content, and are eco-friendly. Rubber can usually withstand more weight than foam mats can, but it's also heavier, so you may need multiple people for installation.
  2. Foam mats, on the other hand, are a lighter weight alternative. Foam mats provide excellent cushion and shock absorption, and some even offer ASTM fall height ratings. They tend to be softer than rubber, making for a comfortable surface, and are also easy to clean up. Foam mats are lightweight and easy to install, but keep in mind that some foam mats aren't made to withstand heavy weights, such as exercise equipment.

Both our rubber and foam floor mats are available in different sizes and designs. You will find that rubber mats are available in interlocking tiles, straight edge tiles, and large rolls to cover greater areas. Foam mats are available in interlocking tiles, as well as in straight edge mats. Smaller interlocking tiles are usually the easiest to install; larger rolls sometimes require adhesive, and tend to be heavier and more difficult to move. If you're planning to install the mats yourself, we offer plenty of mats that are DIY-friendly.

Below are just a few of the potential applications for our floor mats.
