NOTE: This item is a custom order and is not returnable.
Our urethane rubber flooring adhesive is appropriate for rolled rubber, rubber tiles, and cork underlayments. Use when installing over fully cured concrete, primed lightweight concrete, plywood and OSB substrate. Coverage is approximately 100 SF per gallon for rolled rubber, rubber tiles and cork underlayments.
Fully Cured Concrete
Primed Lightweight Concrete
Open Time: 90 minutes
Rubber: 1/16 x 1/16 inch V-notch trowel
Cork Underlayment: 3/32 in V or U-notch trowel
Cure Time: 12 hour minimum
If the correct trowel and the surface is relatively smooth, expect average coverage per gallon of material, and if the surface is a little more open or rough, the yield will go down.
If the adhesive is cold, it will be difficult to trowel and the yield will go down. Also, if it is
cold, you will leave more in the bucket, which will impact the yield. Only use the adhesive at room temperature.
If they use a 3/32 inch V vs. a 1/16 inhc V, expect the yield to go down by about 1/3.
For the urethanes and other high viscosity adhesives you need to have more
adhesive in front of the trowel. It makes it easier to push around and leaves a more uniform
coating on the floor.
