Cottage Tour SPC Laminate Flooring - Watershield core

The Cottage Tour Laminate SPC Flooring 19.12 Sq Ft per Carton has an old farmhouse inspired style flooring with reclaimed wood graphics and micro beveled edges. Colors in shades of brown and gray.

The middle layer consists of a tongue and groove-like interlocking design that allows the edge of one plank to pop into the edge of the adjacent plank.

These pieces fit together without the need for adhesive, which simplifies the installation process. This click-together design allows a homeowner to do the installation without the need to hire a professional.

Our SPC flooring works as a floating vinyl plank layout, which means installers should not add glue to the subfloor before installing the planks.

The lower layer consists of a sound control underlayment to reduce noise when people walk across the flooring. There’s no need to add an extra underlayment roll of foam or rubber before installation to cut down on noise.

As installers lay out the vinyl planks, they should stagger the lengths of the pieces in each row. This ensures the seams on the short ends of the planks do not line up with a plank in the adjacent row and do not create a pattern in the flooring.

Variable Colors

This is a charming style of flooring. We offer nearly a dozen different designs in rich browns or grays.

Extensive detail goes into the graphics layer on these planks. They use multiple, random shades of either brown or gray, giving them a pattern that will resemble actual wood.

The embossed graphics work to deliver a rustic look in the grain of the faux reclaimed wood. The graphics add simulated knots, a weathered look, and a faux resawn texture. This contributes to the feel of actual wood that each plank has.

By using variable embossed wood grain and color shades in the different planks, installers have multiple options for laying out the pieces.

Installers do not want two identical looking planks to end up next to each other in the flooring layout, as this would detract from the design. Vintage farmhouse floors have a random look. The variety of designs in these individual planks generate a similar randomness for the final layout.

Durable Design

The wear layer of this SPC flooring consists of 100% virgin vinyl materials. This is a water resistant style of flooring that will stand up to rough treatment from kids or pets.

SPC (stone plastic composite) floors use numerous materials in the core, including limestone (or calcium carbonate), polyvinyl chloride, and a variety of plasticizers. Some people refer to this type of flooring as a rigid core luxury vinyl product.

The core uses an innovative WaterShield SPC Rigid Hybrid material. It gives the vinyl plank flooring plenty of rigidity and durability, ensuring it will last for decades. This product carries a limited 35-year manufacturer’s warranty for the residential finish.

Originally, SPC was a type of flooring limited to commercial uses. However, it has migrated into the residential market, thanks to the beautiful designs on the upper layer and the ease of installation.

This is a safe type of flooring, as it does not contain phthalates. It uses a urethane finish with acrylic bead.

Maintenance and Care

Owners can vacuum, sweep, or dust mop this flooring once a week or more often, as needed. Do not use a vacuum with a bristle beater bar or a metal head.

Clean up any water spills, pet accidents, or tracked-in soils as quickly as possible. The floor is water-resistant, but maintenance is far easier when cleaning spills quickly.

Damp mop the floor as needed to remove stubborn dirt and stains. Use a neutral pH cleaner on the flooring with the damp mop.

Maintenance

Sweep or dust mop your floor once a week or more with an approved floor cleaner. Spills, pet accidents, or tracked in dirt should be cleaned immediately. Never clean or wet mop with water, water may damage floor. Use a wood floor cleaner, do not use harsh abrasive cleaners.
