Rubber Tile Interlocking 10% Color 3/8 Inch x 2x2 Ft. Pacific features a 10 percent color fleck in a black base. This rubber flooring tile is the product of choice for many of the country's most prestigious fitness chains, along with a large number of Division I colleges and universities. Manufactured from recycled tires, this rubber flooring tile is a durable, high quality flooring solution that takes the abuse of high traffic areas and keeps looking good for years.

At 3/8 inches in thickness, these thin tiles will still create a durable floor. Yet, an individual tile only weighs 10 pounds, which will make the process needed to connect the tiles go much faster. Customers don’t need heavy equipment or several people to finish the installation.

The manufacturer adheres to tight measurement tolerances when creating these tiles, ensuring a precise measurement within 0.01 inches (plus or minus).

Material Options

Rubber is a highly durable material that’s ideal for flooring in a gym or in another area where rough treatment is common. Our 2x2 rubber mat will stand up to the use of heavy exercise equipment or the use of dumbbells without showing significant wear.


We source our 2x2 rubber mat products from a manufacturer in the United States, which means customers can feel comfortable with the quality of the materials in use and in the manufacturing process.

These tiles feature recycled rubber from tires, which are polymercially bound. This process ensures safety for use around children or pets or for ground-based exercises. It also creates a highly durable type of flooring. Each tile carries a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty.

Pattern and Texture Options

Because our 2x2 rubber mat delivers a surface that has natural grip to it, athletes appreciate using this flooring for their workouts. They don’t have to worry about slipping when trying to lift weights or make a quick movement.


The rubber tiles do not need a textured pattern molded into the surface to give users additional traction.

As with the majority of rubber flooring options, these tiles have a black base color. However, they do offer a bit of extra visual appeal versus a standard rubber floor by including a 10% color fleck concentration. The color fleck options include:

Common Use Options

The most common usage option for our rubber tiling is for workout spaces. Whether installing these tiles for use at home or at a commercial facility, they can stand up to tough workouts.


When you are placing a workout machine, like a stationary bike or a treadmill, in your workout space, these tiles will prevent the machines from sliding around, while also protecting the subfloor.

Some installers will place these tiles in areas frequently exposed to dampness, as the rubber surface has anti-slip properties. Locker rooms at an athletic facility or swimming pool are popular installation locations.

Commercial facilities and factories may install our mats. These mats provide a bit of cushioning for workers standing along an assembly line, while guarding against slips from spills that may occur.

Installation Options

To install these floors, just line up the tabs on one tile with slots on the nearby tiles and press them together. There is no need to add glue to the edges of the slots and tabs.


The precision cuts on the interlocking edges will hold the tiles together securely, even when placed under stress. Customers will not see the seams between the interlocking tiles, and they will not pop loose and create a tripping hazard.

Installers have the option of using a dry lay installation or a glue-down installation. For those who want a permanent installation, glue the bottom of the tiles to the subfloor.

To fit the tile tight to a wall or cabinet, installers can cut it with a utility knife and straightedge to remove the puzzle edge.

Cleaning and Maintenance Requirements

It is important to keep our rubber flooring clean, especially in high traffic areas, to prevent staining and soiling.


Start by sweeping the floors on a regular basis using a broom or by running a vacuum cleaner over the top. Removing dry debris and dust regularly will reduce the number of times you have to perform a more thorough cleaning.

You can mop the floor to disinfect and clean it thoroughly. Dilute a neutral pH cleaner with water. After applying the cleaning solution, allow it to dry naturally in the air. To speed up the drying process, introduce large fans to the area.

Maintenance

Always use a neutral Ph cleaner on rubber flooring.
