North Texas MMA win 2016 Dallas BJJ Championships

North Texas MMA dominated the Greatmats-sponsored American Grappling Federation 2016 Dallas BJJ Championships at the NYTEX Sports Center in North Richland Hills, Texas, on Oct. 29. North Texas MMA collected 602 total team points to win the overall team title by more than 300 points.
Soul Fighter Texas came in second with 278 total points, and Bquick JJ placed third (257 points).

North Texas MMA collected in majority of its points in kids grappling divisions, winning the Kids No Gi Division with 219 points and the Kids Gi Division with 185 points. It also won both adult divisions racking up 122 points in Adults No Gi and 76 points in Adults Gi.

Soul Fighters Texas put together a strong second-place showing in the Kids Gi Division, tallying 106 points, and added 95 points in the Kids No Gi Division for another runner up finish.

Bquick JJ earned 91 points in the Kids No Gi Division to claim third, and added 86 points in the Adults No Gi Division for a second-place finish in that division.
UFC Gym - Richardson was the second-place team in the Adults Gi with 42 points.

Genesis Jiu Jitsu placed third in the Kids Gi Division. All American MMA was third in the Adults No Gi Division. RCJ Macado edged out Soul Fighters Texas by tiebreaker to claim third in the Adults Gi Division.
