Safety Mats for Kids

Our 4-inch safety gymnastics landing mats are built for preschool and toddler rooms, where a little extra protection is needed. Young gymnasts won't be performing the extensive skills or dismounting from the heights that more advanced gymnasts will, so a thinner safety gymnastics mat works perfectly - and saves you money.

These mats are also used for indoor playgrounds and recreational centers where a landing mat is needed to protect from potential falls. Use these mats as a landing area for bounce houses, slides, climbing walls, and obstacle courses.

When trying to decide the best thickness level to order, consider how you'll use the mats. The thinner mats tend to work better for learning tumbling skills, where you need a firmer surface to allow for running and tumbling. When performing skills where the student will be practicing landing or dismounting, a thicker cushion mat is a good idea.

Safety Landing mats are important for not only helping students avoid significant injuries, but they also will prevent leg and joint fatigue for students, allowing them to practice for a longer period of time.

To reduce shipping costs, this product is shipped vacuum-packed with foam and the vinyl cover separately. Just unpack and insert the foam into the vinyl cover. Instructions are included. Call for any questions.

Typically, Royal Blue ships in 1 to 3 days. Other colors may take 4 to 5 weeks. Please call with any questions you may have about shipping times.

Maintenance

Sweep mats to remove dirt and debris. Use a mild soap mixed with water and wipe down the vinyl exterior with a damp sponge or rag, use dry cloth to wipe dry mats.
