• Utility knife
• Measuring tape

1. Start by measuring the remaining space between the tile and the
wall. Make sure to include an expansion gap.
2. Mark where you want to make the cut on the back of the tile with a pen or marker.
3. Use a straight edge as your guide and make a series of shallow scores with a sharp utility knife.
4. Fold the mat back at the cut and finish cutting from the opposite side, following the crease.
5. Lastly, install the tile like you would with a full tile, making sure there is an expansion gap between the tile and the wall.
