Our mat consists of carpet-like PET (polypropylene) fibers reinforced with rubber nubs. These nubs prevent the fibers from crushing under the weight of people walking on them regularly and depositing soils and moisture. This fiber design ensures the longest lasting possible mat.

When exposed to rainwater or snow from people tracking this type of moisture into the building, the fibers will dry quickly, keeping the mat working as intended.

If placing this runner in a busy foot traffic area near the entrance to the building, the manufacturer recommends using a vacuum cleaner on a daily basis to clean the mat. In an area where foot traffic is less frequent, customers can vacuum the mat about once a week.
