Allie Blau - 2017 Dance Instructor of the Year Nominee

I'd like to nominate Allie Blau of Studio Dee for the National Dance Instructor of the Year Award. Allie uses her gifts in dance to help those less fortunate. In fact she's spent the last three year working with a student with Dravet Syndrome build confidence through dance and has seen drastic results.

Now she and the folks at Studio Dee have opened up a class called Rhythm Works design specifically for students of all ages with special needs. The dance classes work under the advice of each student's physical and occupational therapists and Blau has even earned a special certification to better understand the students' needs.
