This product is textured to provide outstanding scraping action in a walk-off carpet tile. Like the name indicates, the Super Nop 52 Carpet Tiles feature a 52-ounce heavy-weight pile and a large nop design.
Super Nop 52 Commercial Carpet Tiles are made of solution-dyed polypropylene fibers which are resistant to wear and stains. These carpet tiles are resistant to stains from ink, salt, coffee, red juice, and more. These carpet tiles are also UV-stabilized.
The needle-punch construction provides optimal crush resistance making this a durable entrance carpet in lobbies, vestibules, high-traffic entrances, and more. The pile height of these carpet tiles is 3/8 inch thick. With the bitumen backing, the total thickness is 1/2 inch.

Q: Will this work on an aluminum deck pontoon boat? Water and mud are factors.
A: We don't have specific experience with installing this over aluminum.
Here are the substrate requirements from the installation document: The substrate must be sound, clean, permanently dry, perfectly smooth, and free of cracks and contaminants, including paint, old adhesive, curing compounds, oil, grease, wax, asphalt, or other contaminants that could negatively affect the performance of the adhesive. Any irregularities in the substrate will telegraph (show through) to the finished floor.
MI1000 Adhesive is the recommended adhesive.
