Brad Boman, a boxer and martial artist, knew that he needed a quality flooring product when his teenage son became interested in the same sports. “The local dojo we’re at now got a new space and put in these exact mats,” says Boman, referring to the Jiu Jitsu Mats Interlocking. “We love them. He explains that you can have a straight edge on the mats when the edge pieces are installed, or you can remove the border strips for a zig-zag pattern. “The mats don’t move, and there’s no problem whatsoever,” he says of their installation. They’ve also held up exceptionally well to boxing, Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, and traffic from multiple kids. “It’s been over a month,” says Boman. “There’s not a mark on these things.”
