Zavier Barnhart is a supportive, attentive, patient trainer that goes above and beyond for his clients. You can tell that he genuinely cares about the mental health and wellbeing of all his students. If he sees a student that is struggling, he goes out of his way to make a terrible day better for them through his classes. He gives so much of himself to everyone that he trains to the point where even if it is your first day with him you immediately want to come back for another session because he pulls you in with his knowledge and effervescent teaching style. For Zavier, no question is a stupid question. He takes the time to make sure that every person feels important and heard. Zavier pushes his students to reach their fullest potential. While his classes are incredibly difficult, he never makes someone do anything that he doesn't believe they are fully capable of. He sees the best in his students when they can't see it in themselves. He forces you to face your fears and more importantly, he makes you realize that you can do much more than you think you can. Bottom line, Zavier trains people because he truly cares about his clients. Plus, you can tell he really loves what he does. Personally, I am eternally grateful to have Zavier as my Fitness Trainer. He has changed my stamina, my mental strength, and my life. Respectfully, I believe there is no one more deserving of this award than Mr. Zavier Barnhart.

I'd like to nominate Ryan Beck for National Fitness Trainer of the year. Ryan uses his skills and knowledge to make the world a better and healthier place. Committed to his goals, he even hiked the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail to raise awareness for Parkinson's Disease - amid the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic. During his hike, he also lost his grandfather to Parkinson's and kept pushing forward, honoring his grandpa's wishes. The hike took him 160 days, but it didn't mark the end of his quest to help those with Parkinson's as he also trains Parkinson's patience through his Rock Steady program.
