''I always loved classics and wanted to invest in one but wanted something unique, something not everybody had,'' Rivas said. ''I started doing research and came across Hudson, especially the Hudson Hornet, it was love at first site.''
Captivated by the Hudson Hornet's history of stock car racing dominance in the fifties, this Cypress Texas branch manager and mortgage loan originator attends car show as often as possible with is wife and sons.
''We all enjoy seeing all the cars but most of all we enjoy talking to people,'' Rivas said. ''Awards are nice, but what I enjoy most is making Hudson known and educating people about them. Hudsons are beautiful cars but a lot of today's generation is not familiar with them because their makers are no longer around.''
A member of the Hudson Essex Terraplane (H-E-T) Club, which is an organization dedicated to preserving the products of the Hudson Motor Company, Rivs plans to use Greatmats Garage Flooring to makeover his garage and give his Hudsons a nicer home.
