Timber Axe Throwing, the first axe throwing venue in Henderson, North Carolina, turned to Greatmats.com for flooring at its facility, which opened in July 2019.

Jeff and Hope Grier, who own and operate the facility, heard about Greatmats through another Axe Throwing venue, whose owner recommended the use of ⅜ inch thick rolled rubber as flooring for its throwing lanes. The recycled rubber flooring helps prevent bounce back from fallen axes, providing a safer throwing environment for Timber Axe Throwing guests.
