Occupational Therapist and Clinic Director Erin DeNola started her private practice, Skilled Therapy & Play Services, Inc., 3 years ago to provide sensory integration, executive function, emotional regulation as well and fine and gross motor skill services not only in the clinic but in homes and schools.

“I used to be a behavior assistant at a special needs school and then discovered occupational therapy during my time there,” Erin said. “After 2 years at the school, I applied to OT school and earned my masters in Occupational Therapy. Before opening my practice, I worked in schools and clinics as an OT. I also worked in hand therapy for a bit.”

In May of 2021 Erin placed her first of 4 orders of Greatmats folding gym mats to use at her clinic.

“They fit in the space and looked to be good quality on the site,” Erin said of her initial reaction to the product and reason for choosing it.

The folding mats are used for support under the suspension equipment used for sensory integration.

“They are durable, good quality, and easy to clean,” Erin said. “They hold their form too, which looks nice in the space.”
