''I don't consider myself one of the top 10 of all time. I have so much people who I admire who I think are outstanding fighters. I think I had a good career. I could have done more. I think everybody has this feeling that we always could have done more and done better, but I'm proud of my achievements.
If I'm the top 10 of all time or the top 100 or the top 1000, I know I had a good run. I have nothing else to prove. I still fight because I like it. I have nothing else to prove.I faced the toughest challenges I could and I win some, I lose some and that's the way the things are. Fortunately we could not win every single one. I wish to. That's not how things are, but I'm proud of what I achieved.
Now my goal is helping other people to achieve their dreams. The dreams are different. Some people just want to become good fighters. Some people just want to be able to defend themselves. Some people just want to be able to win one tournament. Some people just want to be able to win a world tournament. Some people want to be able to be a black belt world champion. Some people want to be competitive in MMA. so many different goals and I try to help my students to achieve them.
That's what makes me proud nowadays is when i see one of my kids accomplish what he set himself to do.''
