The Heronrib Matting consists of a flexible PVC material, so it will conform to a slightly uneven surface in your space.
The PVC should remain tight to the subfloor, even when multiple people are walking across it, without the need to use glue. If desired, however, you can tack the roll of PVC to the subfloor with vinyl tape or adhesive.
Otherwise, by using a dry lay installation, you can remove the roll of flooring and clean the subfloor at any time.
