Shim - ShokLok Interlocking Tile - Level uneven tiles
Uneven floor surfaces and tolerance variances in tiles may cause your tile to be uneven with the connected tile. For this purpose, Shims for ShokLok Interlocking Tiles are available to provide an even flooring surface.
If you come across and area that is uneven as you are assembling your tiles, simply place a shim under the lower tile, until it is level with the adjoining tile. You can then trim the excess shim with sharpened scissors. When placed under the lower tile, the shim will raise it up to the level of the adjoining tile.
