What happens when you connect Premium Foam Mats with Royal Interlocking Carpet Tiles

Foam Kids and Gym Mats Premium Tiles and Royal Interlocking Carpet Tiles are both 2x2 feet in size and roughly 5/8 inch thick. But do they connect to each other? Yes!
Both tiles use the same style of interlocks, making them compatible with each other. You may notice, however, that the fit of the interlocks might not be quite as tight as connections between the exact same model of flooring.
The attached border strips are also not designed in the same way, so if you plan to use border strips, it's best to stick with the foam only strips from the premium mats.
The connectability of these tiles allows you the ability to do something like transition from a foam play room floor to a carpeted home theater room without the need for transition strips.
