Wood look basement floor tile, Waterproof raised flooring tile

If you are looking for a raised waterproof home floor tile, then our economical wood look are the perfect solution for you.

Have the convenience of a portable floor without compromising style. These natural wood grain vinyl topped floor tiles will be sure to give your space an impressive look. Our basement floor tiles are lightweight and easy to handle.

Designed for multiple installations with our unique interlocking tab design. You will be able to install and disassemble your new floor in minutes.

Our tiles are made with a polypropylene plastic base that will connect together using an interlocking tab connecting system. The surface is available in a variety of designs including beautiful wood grains, parquet patterns, solid black or solid white. Each tile measures 12-1/8 x 12-1/8 inches, 5/8 inch thick and only weighs just over a pound a piece. Border Ramps and Corner Ramps are available to complete you floor.

These floor tiles can be installed over any hard flat surface, including concrete, wood or ceramic tile. This tile is not suitable for installation over carpeting of any type. These tiles are designed for residential use only and are not high heel proof.

When installing these modular tiles for athletic courts or on concrete floors, we recommend using a 2 to 6 mm rubber underlayment to provide shock absorption, increase comfort and muffle sound. The use of rubber underlayment for home installations over concrete may reduce the potential for clicking noise from the tiles touching the concrete floor. Home underlayment options feature the 2mm EZ Floor or 3 mm rubber underlayment. If you are installing tiles in an area where leaks may occur, then do not use an underlayment.

Maintenance

Sweep after use, damp mop when needed.

Q & A⌃ Back to top
Ask a question about this product

Product Questions:

Can this dance floor be used outside? (on Grass)
For installation over grass, we recommend the use of our portable floor tile under these dance floor tiles to support them. The tiles are waterproof, and can expand in direct sunlight exposure, like all polypropylene floor tiles.
Are they priced per title or are they a pack example (pack of 10)?
They are priced per tile.
How would this work over carpet? Would there be problems with shifting or mold in a medium humid environment? What about with a dehumidifier?
Mold is not the issue, the issue over carpet could be the cushion of the carpet, if one tile is stepped on and it gets pushed down then the tiles might de-lock. With a low pile carpet we do not see this issue.
Can the tiles be used as a basement floor covering with furniture?
Yes this is a good option.
Show many would you recommend to get just for a regular dance floor enough room for 6. People
That depends on the type of dance, maybe a 10x10 ft would be good.
Can tap shoes be used on this product?
Yes its ok for tap shoes.
I am considering using these tiles on top interlocking rubber mat squares for a little spring. Would this work?
Yes this would work, however we have a rubber roll specifically for this application, that is less dense than common rubber tiles, called our Plyometric Rubber Roll in 3/8 inch or 6 mm thickness.
Is this floor suitable for a semi-permanent rehearsal studio 20'x20'?
For street shoes yes, for ballet not so much as this flooring tile has seams everyone one foot where the tiles connect.
I need to be able to tape down individual squares of this. Is there a tape that is recommended?
Not sure about this option.
Can I use this floor ballroom dance?
Yes. These can be used for ballroom dance.
Is it okay to put the title over hardwood, to set the weight bench on?
We suggest placing a construction paper beneath these tiles over hardwood. These tiles are not designed for areas where weights could be dropped. The weights could crack the vinyl surface.
Would this type of flooring work well on an uneven concrete floor, or does it have to be perfectly flat?
These tiles will work well over slight imperfections. If you have large divots or cracks, we suggest correcting those before laying a tile over the top.
How many tiles would I need for about 200 guests?
20x20 is pretty standard for an event dance floor.

Customer Rating:

Great!

Avon, OH

Customer Rating:

Pros:
Tiles click together fairly easily. Color is representative

Cons:
Wood grain is a little shiny...would have been nicer as a matte.
Really annoying that the edges of each tile are not the same as the pattern. So, our ''wood floor'' looks like a wood pattern with orangey-brown grid lines.
If you want your floor to look like wood, then make sure to verify that edge is same as top.

Very good quality but a little pricey

TRINIDAD, CO

Customer Rating:

Love it! Light and easy to install, and easy to put away. Fits perfectly in the middle of our carpeted living room, where we practice our dancing. We chose a 6x5 configuration since it helps learn to dance in tight spaces.
