At L.E. Phillips Senior Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, more than 2,000 members ages “50 and better,” participate in approximately a dozen fitness classes which take place on Walnut patterned Max Tile Raised Floor Tiles, purchased from Greatmats 4 1/2 years ago. Five classes are held per day on the floor as well as large group lectures as needed.
Underneath the modular, interlocking raised tiles is a 3 mm rubber floor underlayment, also acquired from Greatmats. The rubber underlayment adds cushion and sound buffering qualities, that make it a perfect multipurpose fit for the center.
