How Long Does It Take To Install 100 sq. ft. of 2x2 Interlocking Foam Mats

When installing interlocking foam mats with puzzle style interlocking, you can expect to install 100 square feet easily in less than 30 minutes. In this video, we tested 5 different styles if foam puzzle mats and the longest it took was 22 minutes to not only connect the tiles, but add the border strip finish to each installation. The fastest time - for a 1st time diy installer - was 7 minutes to install a 10x10 foot area of 5/8 inch thick solid colored foam tiles.
This is good information to keep in mind if you're planning to install this type of soft flooring for a temporary space such as a 10x10 trade show booth.
