South Carolina Dance Company is located in the heart of Lexington, SC. It has served the community of Lexington for 10 years under the direction of Danyele Gardner and staff.
This is a family friendly studio that focuses on technique, training and teamwork, but encourages students to be well rounded and contributing members of their community.
SCDC is known for its many awards in the dance competition circuit but quietly gives back to the community. After the devastating flood in October of last year, SCDC coordinated a relief drive for our neighbors who had been hit so hard by the storm. Our studio is constantly giving back and teaching the bigger lessons of life.
As a parent, I wanted to nominate South Carolina Dance Company for this giveaway. I know they could use new Marley, Barres and Mats for use in their classes to continue their commitment to dance education in our area. Thank you for your consideration.
