About the Writer: Kim Butler

Kim Butler, a mother of two adult children, has a Bachelors Degree from Grinnell College (Grinnell, Iowa) and has been involved in the specialty flooring industry for more than 20 years. Prior to that she was a PBS television producer.

She has a special interest in soccer, having been a member of her college club soccer team. She is a certified American Youth Soccer Organization referee and former youth soccer coach and program director.
