This was our very first playoff game in many many years. My team has grown so much in the past year that we are stronger than ever. The amazingly beautiful woman behind this photo is the hardest working, most kind hearted woman in the world. Tammy Askew, our cheer coach has given us the past 6 years of her life to teach us to be strong, young women who believe in ourselves. We have become such an amazing group, but we have one dilemma. We have zero school funding. We have had the same pompoms since 2001. 18 years of blood, sweat and tears. Our mats have been abused by other school teams such as wrestling, and also by the weightlifting team. They are torn, stained, ripped, and smell so terribly that its hard to breathe around them. This money would allow us to be the best team we could be. I am a Varsity Cheerleader on this team! Our address is : 150 Eagle Pride Drive East Flat Rock, NC 28726

Our high school would use the mats so that our JV program has somewhere to practice. Right now, we only have one set of mats and it is very difficult for both our our teams to practice. Currently, we have to share the mat space with both levels, which makes it difficult for the teams to effectively practice and prepare routines Taylor Lehmann Head Cheer Coach Geneva High School 416 McKinley Ave. Geneva, IL 60134

Indian Trail Cheer

Indian Trail High School 6600 60th St. Kenosha, WI 53142

This was our JV and varsity cheerleaders at our 2019 homecoming game. We would definitely use the mats to have extra space for our coed stunting, as we are a newly coed program!! We would also utilize the mats so we can hold JV and Varsity practice at the same time as we are a program where some coaches have to do double duty, and we just don't have enough mat space! If we received the cash, we'd invest in new game day Poms. Katrina Jackson - 2018/19 Varsity Coach

I’m the head cheerleading coach at Northwestern - 100 Harthan Way Albion Pa, 16401 - for football, basketball and competitive spirit. Our cheer program could use a longer mat for tumbling or tumble assistant mats (cheese block). Being a small school with a small budget anything we could receive would be greatly appreciated. Pewamo-Westphalia high school

March 2nd, 2019

Delta Plex

I am a cheerleader on the Pewamo-Westphalia cheer team - 5101 Clintonia Rd, Westphalia, MI 48879. This is a photo of us winning state finals. We worked so hard but our mats are falling apart. Chunks keep falling out everyday! We want to go back and win again next year but our mats inhabit how much we actually can do. If we were to win this contest we would use it to pay for new mats. Our mats are very old and they actually give many of the people on our team rashes and makes people's allergies flare up. We would also use some of the money to pay for new uniforms that we would need to purchase in the future since we don't have enough for everyone on our team.

Rosati Kain High School

November 29, 2018

St. Louis, MO

I am the current captain of the Rosati-Kain cheer team- 4389 Lindell Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63108. The photo above is of our first game of the 2018-2019 season. While we are a relatively young team, comprised of freshmen and sophomores, we still have a ton spirit! New mats could really help us improve our tumbling, our stunting, and the overall safety of our team! New mats could also give us more opportunities for stunt advancement, allow us to have more fun during practice, and help build a foundation for the future of RK Cheer!

Tolleson Union High School

February 2019

9419 W Van Buren St Tolleson, AZ 85353

Our 2018-2019 Varsity cheer team poses in front of Old Main on campus which was built in 1927. With our school being so old, we don't have enough facilities for our team to practice in the afternoons so these kids are at school at 5:30 am everyday during season working hard on mats that are almost ten years old. We would love the chance to get new mats so that we could continue to work on our tumbling skills on a floor that won't hurt us. If we were lucky enough to win money we could put it towards renting a space so that we might be able to practice after school so our kids can get the sleep they need to still be successful in school! I am the head cheer coach at our school!

Tupelo High School

4125 Golden Wave Drive, Tupelo, Mississippi 38801

I soon will be a senior for the Tupelo High School varsity coed team in north Mississippi. The reason I am applying for this giveaway is that, our team has been through so much in the past couple of years. We have had 3 coaches quit, since I have been on the team. Our football team doesn't respect us or our mats, we have walked into the gym multiple times where they have rolled them our just to walk on them with their cleats so they don't walk on the gyms floor. A couple of the mats got water on them from a leak in the ceiling and have a touch of mold on the edges. and so much more. We are not in the booster club, so we have to raise our own money and pay out of pocket for anything that we want to do, and we just can't afford to do anything about the mats. We are not seen as a 'sport' in our school. Even though we just won the 6a Varsity game day championship in December. Even though I will be leaving in a short year, this group of girls and guys deserve so much, so I am doing my best to leave them with the best. Thank you!
